Information we collect

We collect what you give us through our forms:

• Merchant applications: business name, website, business type, industry, expected monthly volume, average ticket, the payment methods and services you want, and your name, email address and phone number.
• Partner sign-ups: company name, partner type, your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us about your business.
• Contact messages: your name, email address, subject and message.

Our hosting and security providers also record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. We use this to run and protect the site.

Our forms do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or card numbers, and we ask you not to include them. If a processing partner needs documents to underwrite your business, a specialist will send you a secure link for them.

How we use it

• To review your application and match you with suitable processing partners.
• To contact you about your application, partnership or question.
• To operate, secure and improve the website and our services.
• To detect and prevent fraud and misuse.
• To meet legal, regulatory and card network requirements.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Processing partners. When you apply, we share your application details with the banks, processors and service providers we think may be able to serve your business, so they can evaluate it. Each partner handles your information under its own privacy policy.
• Service providers. Companies that host our website and database, send our email and help us secure our systems, under agreements that limit how they use it.
• Legal reasons. When required by law, regulation, court order or card network rules, or to protect the rights and safety of TruePay, our partners or others.
• Business changes. As part of a merger, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.

Cookies

The public site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for it to work, such as keeping administrators signed in. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools later, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep application, partner and contact records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet legal, tax and card network record-keeping obligations. When we no longer need a record, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

Submissions are stored in a database that public visitors cannot read. Only authorized TruePay staff can view them after signing in. No system is perfectly secure, so please send only the information our forms ask for.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights. We will not treat you differently for using them.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information we are legally required to retain.

Children

TruePay serves businesses. Our site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make it clear on the site before it takes effect.
